Brian McKiterick has served as a Police Officer throughout Victoria for the past 40 years. As a father of three children who completed their schooling in Geelong, he appreciates the needs of local families.
Brian has represented his community as a Surf Coast Shire Councillor for 10 years, including two terms as Mayor of the Shire. He brings experience in community engagement, environmental sustainability, regional planning, transport connectivity, and community infrastructure, ideally placing him to represent the Bellarine community in a Liberal State Government.
Brian has lived with his family in the Bellarine/Surf Coast area for 25 years and has been extensively involved in the community as a member of the Torquay Men’s Shed, coached junior football at Torquay Football Club, served on the Bendigo Community Bank Enterprise committee and on an environmental surfing lobby group funding audit committee.
Brian’s priority as an experienced representative is to be a vocal member for his area and to advocate for a safer community.
